Born in the classic river town of Owensboro, KY, Nathan Scott Morris has drawn from personal experiences to produce genuine lyrics that are relevant to listeners from various walks of life. With a physical look often compared to John Mayer and Robert Pattinson, Nathan attracts a wide range of fans with more than his quality sound recordings. Musically, Nathan’s piano-driven track Closure, which has played on heavy rotation in all Starbucks’ internationally (2008-2009), and guitar-driven Close Like Me, featured on American Airlines domestic and international flights and the mass-retail compilation Hope, testify to his ability to reach a broad audience through quality song-writing and sound production.

November of 2008 marked the one year anniversary of the release of Nathan’s first full-length album, A Gentleman’s Closure. With the expertise of fellow songwriter and producer Nathan Walters, A Gentleman’s Closure garnered Nathan Morris an international fan base, multiple placements in various mass mediums, and months at the #1 spot on IndieCharts.com (2009), topped by his Coldplay-esque ballad Broken But Breathing.

2009 began a new era for Nathan Morris, propelled by the ever-growing success of his debut album and teaming with Grammy nominated, Dove-Award winner Ryan Farish. Mixing Ryan’s award-winning production skills with Nathan’s voice and songwriting appeal generate a recipe for attracting more domestic and international fans to Nathan Morris’ style, song, and sound in the coming years.
